Editor's note
A cell-culture study, not a human or animal trial, so findings speak only to mechanism. Kisspeptin-10 was the direct subject and showed a dose-dependent, receptor-dependent signal associated with cardiac extracellular-matrix remodeling that would need in vivo confirmation.
Plain-language abstract
In cultured human heart fibroblast cells, kisspeptin-10 increased production of extracellular-matrix components through GPR54 and FAK signaling.
